DISABILITY INCLUSION RADIO PROGRAMME: Ambassador Beatrice and Honorable Emmanuel discuss Advancing Electoral Inclusion for Persons With Disabilities under the 2018 Disability Act

With the Anambra state governorship election and the 2027 general elections on the horizon, on today’s show, Disability Inclusion radio show host, Jennifer Ogor, was joined by Amb. Beatrice Awala Mube, Vice president, National Association of persons with physical Disabilities in Nigeria (NAPWPD) and Hon. Emmanuel Aduku, House of Assembly candidate, 2023 general election, to discuss how Nigeria is implementing the The Discrimination Against Persons with Disabilities (Prohibition) Act 2018 and what actions are being taken by the community of persons with disabilities to ensure inclusive democratic participation. This happened live on Radio Nigeria.

The show was an engaging conversation on the work of leaders in the PWD community on the shared responsibility in moving electoral inclusion forward.
